Five-year-old killed as winds carry bouncy castle into the air.

The baseball team from southern Maryland plays at Regency Furniture Stadium; following the event, they canceled an upcoming game.

In the US state of Maryland, high winds hoisted a bouncy castle into the air, resulting in the death of a five-year-old kid and the injuries  by another youngster. The inflatable was hoisted 15 to 20 feet (4.5 to 6 meters) off the ground on Friday and landed inside the Waldorf, California, Regency Furniture Stadium as the kids were playing outdoors.

Before the moon bounce, or inflatable castle, touched down, a few kids plummeted to the ground, according to Charles County, Maryland authorities. Strong to severe stormy conditions were predicted for Friday afternoon and evening, based on weather sources.

According to CBS News, the BBC's US partner, the storms were forecast to bring damaging gusts, intense lightning, and torrential rains.

Authorities claim they received a call regarding the incident at 21:21 local time on Friday (01:21 GMT on Saturday).

According to Charles County, MD, first responders who volunteered and emergency services started treating patients "within minutes of the incident".

The Southern Maryland Blue Crabs announced the postponement of their game on Saturday, expressing their condolences to the impacted families and the larger southern Maryland community.
